Iphithule Khumalo: Small choices made in passion and faith.

Passion ignites energies that are embedded in power of faith. Tenaciously, a self-driven servant leader projects into reality the imaginations and knowledge attained practically through the lens of accountability and responsibility. It only takes the strength of character, commitment and desire to give our fantasies a chance to live. Goal setting done on time at high standard produces self motivation energizing our efforts. It began by writing the plan on a piece of paper. This worked as reminder of my dream. Thus l gave the dream a chance to come to life everyday. What really matters is how we use the resources we have not their quantity. God gave us enough resources to make as much profit as we can. My capital was a US$95 originally budgeted for buying me a smartphone. Harnessing whatever l had, chicken project started successfully. Resilience ultimately encouraged me to do it better, good and best at last. 19 of my chickens died and every solution available to contain the situation without disturbing my studies. I learnt to harness natural resources to solve the problems. As the main actor in the market, l am doing 150 birds per batch regardless of the broken supply. Human beings can live without religion but they can survive without love and compassion towards each other. I decided to take care of the vegetable and fruits needs to the elderly in my community and providing menstrual health education and reusable sanitary pads support to girls. The STAR values and the team deliberately motivated and inspired me. When we take time to rethink of every moment of lives when we are to those small decisions, passion and faith should always be at the forefront. God blesses those who make plans for the poor. Satisfied by my standard, l am full of joy.
