One of the best feelings a Christian individual could possibly have is knowing that in only a year, they have managed to get much closer to God than they expected! Ask those youngsters who use any social media platform and they will tell you that #IvibewithGod and short biographies mentioning God are the new trend, but SLA now decided to “walk-the-talk” and actually implement the written ideas on social media, to something tangible. The Academy joined the Global Intercessors on the 90 day Prayer for our Nation program at STAR decided to nature the Christian talents in our leaders, by initiating a ‘takeover’ of the platform! The leaders showed up on the platform every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11AM to 12PM to change the world through faith and prayer! Rotations also
ensured that different students got the chance to lead the prayer session. Surely, the foundations of hell were rattled, chains were broken, solutions discovered and now all we do is wait on the Lord to answer the prayers made and open the floodgates of heaven for Zimbabwe. Students have also been #vibingwithGod through their Bible reading Plans and engaging in daily reflections on the chapters of the day. On another note, we are happy to announce that most of the students have completed the Hebrew 101 course which has truly been an eye-opening course, revealing more and more of God’s wonderful nature through Jewish lenses.
